Day 1 in PEI - The team had their team photo taken in front of the Athlete's Village Welcome sign. The athletes did some pin trading. They had a practice session at the venue at 4:00 PM. Coach Brad Stevenson won True Sport Trivia in the coaches lounge. The Competition starts tomorrow at 9:15 (7:15 AM Manitoba time) with the start of the Mixed Doubles individual event.

Week 1 of the Canada Winter Games has already begun. Team Manitoba's Badminton team will be heading to PEI for Week 2 competition on Sunday, February 26. This past Saturday some of the athletes, coaches, family, and friends had a Send Off Dinner at the Clay Oven where Team Manitoba members and coaches received their games clothing. Competion for our Team Manitoba athletes begins on Tuesday, February 28 with the Individual Events.
