Last month, we reached out to coaches and officials around the province and asked them who they felt was deserving of our Sportsmanship Awards and Junior Ambassador of the Game Awards.

2022 Manitoba Junior Regional Challenge (part of the MB Games Sport Series)

*NEW TO THE CALENDAR*
The MBA invites all junior athletes in Manitoba to gear up and represent their region at the 2022 Manitoba Junior Regional Challenge!

The Challenge is the newest event on our calendar and is open to junior athletes who are full-time residents on Manitoba. Athletes will not only be representing themselves, but their home region in this new event. Click here for a regional map.

QUICK FACTS
location: Prairie Badminton (2-275 De Baets, Winnipeg)
dates: June 3rd to 5th
cost: $30/athlete (1 event) or $40/athlete (2-3 events)
  *athletes registering in doubles or mixed doubles must do so with an athlete from their region
includes: 2 competition shirts (so you can represent your team!), 1 regional practice & games day to meet your teammates & regional coaches, prizes, medals, and more!
registration deadline: Thursday, May 26th at 11:59pm EXTENDED! Saturday, May 28th at 11:59pm 
  *register before May 12th to be entered to win a new Yonex Astrox 77!

 

Tournament Hotel

We have made an arrangement with the Best Western Premier on Regent (900 Regent Avenue West). Rooms will be $90 per night for double occupancy ($10 per night for each additional occupant, max 4) and include a hot breakfast.

2022 School Team Championships — register now!

Don't miss our 2022 School Team Championships!
On April 8th and 9th, join un in Niverville at the new Community Resource & Rec Centre for the Grades 7 & 8 Team Championship and the High School Team Championship.

A team championship event in unlike any other on the provincial or school tournament circuit. Read our What is a team championship? document to find out all about it. Participating schools can expect an exciting atmosphere, camaraderie, and great prizes!

2022 MBA-Yonex Summer Camps

Registration has opened for the 2022 MBA-Yonex Summer Camps! A MBA School of Badminton initiative, our summer camps will run for 8 weeks through July and August.
This summer, we'll be offering a para-badminton camp, two camps in partnership with Table Tennis Manitoba, as well as our always-popular All-Girls camp in August.

2022 Yonex Manitoba Senior Provincial Championship

For the first time since 2019, join us at the Yonex Manitoba Senior Provincial Championship!

This year, players are invited to register in either the A or B&C Event.
While a single-consolation format will be used for the A events, players registering in B&C events can expect a guaranteed 3 matches.
