Next week, we're launching a project we've been looking forward to for a while: the MBA Web Learning Series.
A virtual series for athletes, coaches, and community members alike, our Web Learning Series will feature guest speakers from across the country. Episode 1 takes place Thursday, January 27th from 1-2pm CST and will feature Toby Ng, a Canadian Olympian from Vancouver, Canada.
Toby qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in mixed doubles, reaching a best world ranking of 16. As well as representing Canada at the Olympic Games, Toby represented Canada at seven World Championships between 2009-2018. Toby has an impressive 12 gold medals from Pan Am Games, and Pan Am Championships as well as 15 international titles.
Toby retired from international competition in 2018 after more than 14 years of international competition. Toby has his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, as well as a strength & conditioning certification from the NSCA. After retirement, Toby got his Master’s in High Performance Coaching and Technical Leadership. Toby’s desire to continue learning shows as he constantly is growing as a coach working to integrate his badminton experience with coaching science.
