The Niverville Badminton Club and the St.Pierre Badminton Club (part of Beyond the Perimeter Badminton) are co-hosting the Beyond the Perimeter Junior Showdown, a fun junior tournament that will be a great opportunity both for athletes with some competitive experience as well as those who are completely new to the tournament circuit.
The Junior Showdown will be the first event hosted under the MBA’s new Hometown Series category of tournaments: club-run, sometimes less-“formal” tournaments hosted around the province. With categories from U11 to U19, the Showdown hopes to be a game-filled event with prizes, giveaways, and some surprises in store for the spectators as well.

*NOTE* The event is being hosted at the brand-new Community Resource and Rec Centre in Niverville. A short <20-minute drive south of Winnipeg, Niverville was recently removed from Southern Health’s enhanced public-health restrictions (and is now included with Winnipeg) due to its high vaccination rates and low case rates.
