Previously held in Steinbach it has moved to Carmen and Winkler.
Refund Policy: Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships or Tournament Registration Fees unless requests are accompanied by a medical note or immediate family crisis.
Availability: Players must make themselves available for the entirety of the event, and personal situations will not be taken into consideration for timing purposes.
Due to the speed of play being unpredictable, participants are asked to be ready well ahead of their posted schedule. It is ultimately the player's responsibility to be present for the start of their match.
The tournament will enforce a strict 10-minute disqualification rule and 2-minute warm-up rule.
Clothing: Participants must have an indoor change of clothing and non-marking athletic shoes
Equipment: Participants must bring their own racquets
Volunteers: If you would like to volunteer at the draw desk, please contact Marj Niemi at [email protected]
Coaching: Please complete your Respect in Sport Online Certification and hold an active membership with Badminton Manitoba
Winkler: Saturday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm Singles and Doubles
Carman: Sunday 9:00am Start Mixed Doubles
Each event will play until it is finished before starting the next event.
Age categories will be split up into either GVC or NPC based on registration #'s and trying to balance out the length of competition at each school; however the Open Category is guaranteed to be in NPC.
This is an approximate schedule and is subject to change depending on the number of entries in each event.
