Eligibility:
U13 - Born in 2008 or later
U15 - Born in 2006 or later
U17 - Born in 2004 or later
U19 - Born in 2002 or later
Open - No age restrictions
Cost:
1 Event: $35.00
2 or 3 Events: $50.00
U13 Cost:
1 Event: $20.00
2 or 3 Events: $35.00

Participants must have an active current 2019/2020 season Regional membership.
(Membership purchase or upgrade is available at time of registration)
The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada.
Manual Registrations subject to a $10 admin fee. (Except for U13 Categories)
Late registrations are not guaranteed to be accepted,
however if they are accepted they will be subject to a $10 late fee & $10 manual fee,
& individuals may not be included in seeding.
Entry fees are payable on-line at the time of registration.

Tournament Description:
Changed last year from the Interlake Open, the Eastman Open reflects the change in Sport Manitoba Regions.
This year's tournament will be held at East Selkirk Middle School and Selkirk Regional Secondary School.
Who will have their name added to the Eastman Open trophy?
Regulations:
Refund Policy: Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships or Tournament Registration Fees unless requests are accompanied by a medical note or immediate family crisis.
Availability: Players must make themselves available for the entirety of the event, and personal situations will not be taken into consideration for timing purposes.
Due to the speed of play being unpredictable, participants are asked to be ready well ahead of their posted schedule. It is ultimately the player's responsibility to be present for the start of their match.
The tournament will enforce a strict 10-minute disqualification rule and 2-minute warm-up rule.
Clothing: Participants must have an indoor change of clothing and non-marking athletic shoes
Equipment: Participants must bring their own racquets

Coaching: Please complete your Respect in Sport Online Certification and hold an active membership with Badminton Manitoba
Approximate Schedule:
ESMS: Friday: 4:30 pm - 11:00 pm Singles
Saturday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm Continuation of Singles, followed by Doubles
LSRSS: Friday: 6:30 pm - 11:00 pm Singles
Saturday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm Continuation of Singles, followed by Doubles
Sunday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Mixed Doubles
Each event will play until it is finished before starting the next event.
U13, U15 events will be at East Selkirk Middle School
U19, Open events will be at Selkirk Regional Secondary School
U17 Events will probably be at ESMS but may change depending on number of entries
Mixed events in all age categories will be at Selkirk Regional Secondary School
