All junior players have the option of playing in their category or playing up to whichever category they wish.

MBA Regional Membership is mandatory. MBA Regional Membership available during online registration ($10.50)


Entry fees are payable online at the time of registration.


All players (parents) must sign a waiver at time of registration.

Manual Registrations subject to a $10 admin fee.


Late registrations are not guaranteed to be accepted, however if they are accepted they will be subject to a $10 late fee & $10 manual fee, & individuals may not be included in seeding.


Draw Date: Draws will be posted online Wednesday January 15th

All event winners and runners-up in all age categories will receive prizes. 

Prizes awarded after the finals on Sunday.



All you can eat buffet on Saturday night from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Served at The 40 (210 18th Street North, next to Travelodge)

Buffet includes fried chicken, pizza, salad bar, fries, dessert and much more.


Buffet included with entry (Except U13). 

Additional tickets can be purchased online at time of registration for $10/ticket or at draw desk before 12 noon on January 18th.


Attendance at the buffet grant free entry into the live entertainment at The 40 (No minors allowed after 9:00 pm).



Referees will be used during this tournament.

Players must make themselves available for the entirety of the event, and personal situations will not be taken into consideration for timing purposes.

Finals will be played on Sunday.


Due to speed of play being unpredictable, participants are asked to be ready a minimum of 45 minutes prior to their posted match. 

It is ultimately the player’s responsibility to be present for the start of their match.

The Tournament will enforce a strict 10 minute disqualification rule and 2-minute warm-up rule.


Clothing: Participants must have an indoor change of clothing and clean/indoor/non-marking athletic shoes

It is recommended that players use protective eyewear while participating in this tournament.


Equipment: Participants must bring their own racquets



Refund Policy:

 Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships or Tournament Registration Fees

after the registration deadline unless requests are accompanied by a medical note or immediate family crisis. 

Registrations can be fully refunded prior to the registration deadline.


Approximate Schedule:

Friday -  Singles 5:30 - 11 pm

Saturday - Doubles and Mixed 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

Sunday - Finals 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
