Tournament Description

After last year's successful Inaugural Tournament we are looking to host another great event in the Interlake!  Last year's Interlake Open was in Selkirk, and this year we're moving it to Stonewall, home of the Interlake Badminton Club!  Interlake Badminton Club will be on their best to try and win all the titles, so it's up to the rest of Manitoba to get out and play the villain, stealing titles away from the home crowd!

Tournament Rules/Regulations

Refund Policy: Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships or Tournament Registration Fees unless requests are accompanied by a medical note or immediate family crisis.

Availability: Participants must be available to play during the entirety of the events that they are registered for.  MBA will not accept special requests for time, for any reason.

Due to speed of play being unpredictable, participants are asked to be ready a minimum of 30 minutes prior to their posted match.  It is ultimately the player’s responsibility to be present for the start of their match.

The Tournament will enforce a strict 10 minute disqualification rule and 3-minute warm-up rule.

Clothing: Participants must have an indoor change of clothing and non-marking athletic shoes

Equipment: Participants must bring their own racquets

Volunteers: If you would like to volunteer at the draw desk, please contact Ryan Giesbrecht at (204) 925-5621 or [email protected]

Unofficial Schedule:

Friday @ 6:00pm - Singles Begins

Saturday @ 9:00am - Singles Continues, Followed by Doubles & Mixed Doubles
