The Manitoba Badminton Association is proud to be able to hold this event to support the development and growth of juniuor athletes throughout the province.
Operating on a 4-year cycle timed with the Manitoba Games schedule, the JRC will allow athletes to compete in meaningful provincial competitions.
The MBA will work with our regional and club leaders to promote this event to their athletes.
Thanks to a Arts, Culture and Sport in Community Fund special initiative grant the MBA can offset many of the event costs (venues, travel, lodgings) to keep the event as affordable as possible for the participants.
Registration - this will be a two step process.

Saturday: Singles continuation, Doubles Events
Sunday: Mixed Doubles

Late registration will incur a $10 fee and inclusion is not guaranteed.

Format: Single Consolation, OPEN - A, B, C, D Dropdown

Consolation event winners also recognized (excluding runners-up)

Active 2023-2024 MBA Provincial or Badminton Canada National membership required
Governed by Badminton Canada rules
Fees:
$55.00+GST = $57.75 for up to 3 events.

Regional Subsidies:
Players/teams are eligible for subsidized funding through this event. Players outside of Winnipeg can contact [email protected] to request funding support.
This is to help offset travel and accomodation costs. The amount supported will depend on the number of requests we receive for your region and will be determined after registration closes.
Event Includes: player souvenir, shuttles, Saturday lunch at the venue, medals and prizes.
MBA Sanctioned Event Policy:
Shuttles: Yonex nylon shuttles provided
Attire: Indoor, non-marking athletic shoes and appropriate sportswear required
Availability: Participants must be available for the duration of the event and adhere to a 10-minute disqualification rule and a 2-minute warm-up rule
Coaching: Valid 2023-2024 MBA Coaching License required for field-of-play access.
Refund Policy:
No refunds for MBA Memberships or registration fees, except with a medical note or in the event of a family crisis
Terms & Conditions: By participating, entrants agree to waive any claims related to injury or damage and release the MBA and associated parties from any liability. Participants affirm they are in good physical condition and consent to the use of their name and image in promotional materials.
