Tournament Description

The Yonex Herb Richard Manitoba Open is one of Manitoba's longest standing tournaments, and has been renamed after Herb Richard who was a long-time badminton professional at both the Winnipeg Canoe Club and the Wildewood Club.

The "A" event is 1 of only 2 Premier Level Provincial Tournaments in Manitoba, which makes it a 1.0 ranking event.  The "C" event is held at the very same time but is a 0.25 ranking event and therefore this tournament can accommodate all levels of play!

There is a lunch planned for Saturday, as well as a tournament souvenir and prizes for final day winners

Other Information:

Refund Policy: Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships.  Tournament Registration Fees will not be reimbursed after the registration deadline unless requests are accompanied by a medical note or immediate family crisis.

Availability: Participants must be available to play during the entirety of the tournament.  MBA will not accept special requests for time, for any reason.
Due to speed of play being unpredictable, participants are asked to be ready a minimum of 30 minutes prior to their posted match.  It is ultimately the player's responsibility to be present for the start of their match

Players are responsible for being present for all their matches, and the "Approximate Schedule" is only a guide and should not be used as fact.  If the tournament is running ahead of time, it is your responsibility to be prepared for your match.
