Tournament description:

The very first junior tournament of the year is upon us so make sure you get your registration in on time so you don't miss the action. We would like to welcome players from all clubs and backgrounds around Manitoba. There is usually a wide variety of players entered in this tournament so you can expect some good competition at many different levels.

All matches will be played at Winnipeg Winter Club

Refund Policy: Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships. Tournament Registration Fees will not be reimbursed after the registration deadline unless requests are accompanied  by a medical note or immediate family crisis.

Availability: Participants must be available to play during the entirety of the tournament. MBA will not accept special requests for time for any reason.

Due to speed of play being unpredictable, participants are asked to be ready a minimum of 30 minutes prior to their posted match. It is ultimately the player's responsibility to be present for the start of their match.

The tournament will enforce a strict 10 minute disqualification rule and 2-minute warm up rule.

New: Coaching will now be allowed between points and at the 11 point interval as well as between games.

Coaches are now required to register with Manitoba Badminton Association and to check in at the draw desk at each tournament.

Clothing: Participants must have an indoor change of clothing and non-marking athletic shoes.

Equipment: Participants must bring their own racquet(s).

Volunteers: If you would like to volunteer at the draw desk, please contact Sean Chawla at 431-777-8447or [email protected]
